Occasionally, it takes a few seconds for the result of a calculation to appear. How do I fix that?

This happens whenever you have restarted your Mac and Equals needs to launch again and it’s not set to do so automatically whenever you log into your Mac. Just check the checkbox “Open Equals at login” in the “Preferences” window and Equals will run on every login until you deactivate this option.
